Axiom definitely produces efficiencies, in terms of being able to get input from budget-holders, via the Plan Files, versus disparate Excel files that we had to consolidate at one time. That saved us time. And being able to push out all the reports, real time, to all-- the users have access immediately, as soon as they submit certain Plan Files and run those reports. Being able to do that immediately saved enormous amounts of time for us.
From the point of view of getting all that done quicker, on a daily basis, I would say I definitely saved at least an hour a day, maybe even more, especially during budgeting and forecasting season, which gets me home faster to my wife.
Pure fact that those Plan Files exist – we have not seen a solution yet or used one in our past, that had anything close to a Plan File that was very detailed; and providing budget-holders the ability to provide data input without screwing anything up, and being able to do it real time, and being able to push a button, see a financial report that shows exactly what they adjusted – that is, by far, the biggest thing that we've benefited from.
The Axiom budgeting and forecasting implementation was good, number one, because we had consultants who were at the same level as us, professionally, if not better, and mostly likely better and faster at everything that we did ourselves at our own job, based on their own experience before joining Axiom; and because of the fact that they had so many prior clients who are similar to us, not only what we're doing, but in the transition from our old system to the new system – so they knew the hang-ups, the pain points, and how to provide solutions.
