As Senior Director, Product Management, Justin Martin leads product development and strategy for Syntellis’ Higher Education division. He has worked with Syntellis for more than five years, serving as the Industry Practice Lead for Higher Education and as Director, Strategic Programs. Prior to joining Syntellis, Justin worked in various budgeting and capital planning roles at Boston University for more than four years.

Kyle has nearly three decades of experience designing and delivering valuable, best-practice-based solutions for financial services companies worldwide and has pioneered many concepts of margin-based and balance sheet planning for the banking industry. He is one of the original developers of the Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA) suite, recognized as the industry’s leading solution for enterprise performance management (EPM) in financial services, and conceived, designed and built Oracle Budgeting and Planning (now Oracle Balance Sheet Planning). He has trained and educated over 2,000 bankers, consultants and software companies on bank performance management, including transfer pricing and asset and liability management. 

Kyle holds a Master of Business Administration in finance from George Washington University and a Bachelor of Science in business administration from the University of Kansas.
 

With more than 25 years of healthcare experience, Patrick Smyth is a trusted strategic advisor to healthcare leaders nationwide. His areas of expertise include integrated strategic and financial planning, organizational strategy, strategic options, mergers and acquisitions, physician strategy, clinical portfolio assessment, and program development.

Prior to Kaufman Hall, Patrick was Executive Director of Strategic Planning at Kaiser Foundation Health Plan, responsible for developing regional and program-wide strategic and financial analyses and plans. He previously was Senior Manager and Director of Strategic Financial Services at Kurt Salmon Associates.

Patrick has contributed articles on financial planning and capital investment analysis to various industry journals. He holds an M.B.A., with a concentration in Finance, from San Francisco State University. Patrick is a Chartered Financial Analyst, as designated by the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts.
